The Old Granary & Shepherds Hut

Absolutely beautiful cottage! We had the best time at The Old Granary. Excellent location to explore the area with tons of sights and days out within 15mins. Cottage is very well appointed, excellent hosts and super tasty welcome pack, we shall definitely be back!

Nice location with great view over the Valley short drive or reasonable walking distance into Matlock and surrounding areas. Cottage was clean and well equipped with friendly hosts. Recommend walking or drive into Crich Village to sample coffee and pastry from The Loaf and lunch/dinner at The Old Black Swan quality food and service

The Old Granary is an outstanding 5* property and if you are lucky enough to find availability book it without hesitation. We have just stayed on a 4 night break as a family of six adults with our dog. It is beautiful property set in a wonderful location, incredible gardens with breathtaking views from the property and hot tub across Derbyshire and beyond - amazing. The decor is exquisite with every modern amenity available. The hosts are charming and so helpful, with every detail catered for from the tasty homemade cake and selection of goodies upon arrival to food and attractions guidance on their website, nothing is to much trouble. A must stay and we will return as soon as we can.
