I have found the service at Sherratt Opticians to be excellent . The staff are friendly and efficient. I called in today with a problem with my spectacles. They sorted the problem out very quickly. Excellent optician, and far more trustworthy than the national high street chains. Sherratt's sorted two problems that neither Specsavers nor Vision Express were able to: a slight astigmatism in one eye that, upon Gillian's prescription, was corrected and resulted in a new contact lens prescription that was better than I'd ever had before; and correction of my reading prescription through the right varifocals - Specsavers were useless despite spending about 300. Sherratt's prescription did the trick. Yes, you pay a bit more but it's worth it in the knowledge that you're getting the best product.
