Over the past couple of years Ive used Halfords on several occasions and have always been more than happy with the service. However on this occasion the experience wasnt so good. I ordered items for store pick up and a week later I still hadnt received a notification to say it was in store ready for collection I decided to go to the store anyway only to find that I could have collected the items the day after they were ordered. So 6 days waiting around to get on with the jobnot ideal. I wont let this put me off. hopefully normal service will be resumed on my next purchase.

Had a number plate replacement Paid for fitting, the screws provided weren't long enough so Halfords just used sticky tape which justified 8 fitting charge.. Hoping this doesn't fall off Friendly staff but a bit of sticky tape shouldn't be chargeable

I needed 4lights and a battery.Olly the lad who looked after me was superb, such patience as it wasn't easy to fit everything but he did it.Then while paying and signing up for the motoring club he needed my e-mail on my phone which l have never used.He tried everything and eventually came to a compromise.I can't praise this lad enough, thank you Olly so much,Margaret Stubbs

Ordered on line for store collection. Wife went to pick the stuff up. She came back with 2 items missed off the collection and another 2 items they were in stock but couldn't find them when she got there. Now I have the hassle of trying to get a refund for the missing items. Their Indian call centre was next to useless in resolving the problem. Downgraded from 2 star to 1 star. After 3 lengthy calls to the Indian call centre (because you are not allowed to speak to the store directly!!) I am no further on and the store is an hour round trip for me so reluctant to go in. Would never order from Halfords again. Just not worth the hassle.
