A very disappointing Sunday lunch, poor roast potatoes, parsnip (only 1) was uncooked on one side and burnt on the other. Yorkshire pudding was cold. No chicken breast meat only thigh and leg. Similar complaints for accompaniments for roast beef which had gristle. Such a shame and not encouraged to return. Waiter was not engaged, did not smile or seem very happy to be there.

Accepted a Sunday lunch booking for 6pm. Showed up to be told that they've closed the kitchen and 'it's probably the new management's fault for telling you the wrong thing on the phone'. Was then told we could stay and buy a round of drinks if we wanted. How generous. Taking a look at their tripadvisor seems like this is not an isolated incident, and with gems like finding steak tartare in your dessert maybe best to avoid.
