Well worth a visit for those interested in the changing social fabric of London. The current building dates from 1913. There have been educational establlishments on this site since 1874 with changes of names as follows Cook's Ground School, Kingsley School and Jamahiriya School. Before that the site was a glebe (land let by the Church) and a {sub) tenant was a Francis Cook, hence the Cook's Ground name. Latest evolution is change of use from a school for 1000 pupils to 8 residences reputed to cost between 40m and 100m each. I give two stars because I can only stand outside and stare in wonder. I hope one of the new residents wiill give a five star review!
