The Highwayman Pub & Restaurant

Enjoyed another excellent lunch here to day with a neighbour and friend of mine. 1 x G & T and a medium glass of Sauv Blanc, which were taken to our table, for us to finish in the restaurant; always a nice and thoughtful gesture. My friend enjoyed Olga's Signature Dish of Chicken Dnipro with a selection of seasonal vegetables [14.35] and my Cod Loin was perfectly cooked on a bed of samphire, saut potatoes, etc. We finished with 2 x Lemon Cheesecakes and whipped cream [6.25each]. A cafetire of filter coffee with hot milk. The service is always of a very high standard with Olga's husband being 'front of house' and a delightful waitress too. We will certainly be returning.

From the moment we walked in to the pub we were greeted with a warm and friendly 'good afternoon ladies' the service was amazing, polite and very welcoming, we decided to have some lunch and the food was out of this world, so tasty and presented beautifully. Highly recommend this pub if you are ever near by or passing.

1st time tonight, and certainly won't be the last. Total dining experience above any expectations. Great friendly host , excellent food , fantastic ambience and lovely little gestures. It was mentioned it was my birthday as a passing comment and when we ordered desserts , mine came with a lit candle and happy birthday piped in chocolate on plate aswell as singing me happy birthday. See you again soon
