14 days ago I arranged to have solar panels fitted to my van. The price had been agreed following being sent a written quotation on a PDF document. I phoned and arranged an afternoon slot having been advised it would take around 4 hours. My husband arranged to keep the afternoon free so we could carry on and do another activity whilst the van was being fitted with the panels. I arranged to be at their 'garage' for midday. I was there on the dot. On arrival the office was locked and no one around. I approached another mechanics garage across the road who offered to take me to their workshop. We found a member of staff who looked totally blank. He knew nothing of this booking. He spoke to his colleague on a mobile.(this colleague had gone to Portsmouth to collect a van). Not only had they forgotten the booking, they hadn't order the panels either!! After a feeble apology we drove away. That wasted almost 3 hours of our day and a load of fuel. Totally unprofessional. Definitely would not recommend.

We recently took one of the campervans from Somerset Campervan Company down to Cornwall for a 3 night break. The service we received was second to none. From the moment that we started talking via email to Sam we were really looked after. Emails were responded to quickly and he was always so helpful. On the day we picked up the van we had an in-depth tour around it by Dan. He showed us how everything worked, where items were stored and answered and questions we had. My husband drove the van and said it drove really well. When we arrived at our campsite we set up the awning and van in no time at all. It was as easy as they said it would be! 3 of us stayed in the van 2 adults and 1 child so there was even enough room for my husband who is 6ft 2 to lay out comfortably. We had the best time in Cornwall and were really lucky to have really hot weather. Campervans were new to us but we will certainly be using them again in the not so distant future.
