        Actually..... we were quite surprised by the whole experience. There has clearly been a lot of money spent on the place, food was really good and if someone suggested going there we would have no objection. Green King have done a good job here unlike the Yacht (total car crash). Well done to all the staff at the bear!

        Had lunch there. Food was very good and well presented. Staff we also very helpful. Modern decoration added to the experience.

        Worst Sunday roast ever, barmaid got order wrong so mains arrived with starters. Beef overcooked, Yorkshire's soft, gravy had lumps in it and veg over cooked. Will not be returning.
