Have thoroughly enjoyed my first steps into the world of pottery and look forward to my weekly classes. Thank you Alba for sharing your lovely studio and knowledge of working with clay.

I have been going to the evening courses for over 6 months now and really enjoy them. Alba is great teacher and has the knack of explaining things so you understand them and the patience to show things. Alba is also is full of tips and advice and balances this with letting you get on with things. The studio has all the equipment needed and the 3 hour length is the right amount of time to be able to work on projects.

Fantastic studio and course. Would absolutely recommend. Our 4 hour introductory course involved so much more than we expected. Under expert guidance from Alba, we each moulded a pinch pot and developed it into something we chose (an ornament, a mug, a salt cellar etc), followed by slab work to make a dish or decorative item, before an opportunity to throw onto the wheel and sculpt a pot each. We were so much more involved and learnt way more than wed anticipated in such a short time. With a maximum of just 4 students per session, there is plenty of opportunity for 1-2-1 guidance from Alba. Her expertise, creativity and passion ensure each student gets the focus they need to produce some really diverse and interesting pieces. Alba is amazing and the studio is fab too. Its a calm, comforting space with a deceptively wide choice of tools and facilities. We loved it and will hopefully be signing up for a longer course towards the summer.

I signed up for the 4hr Taster session and was not disappointed. There were only four of us, which was great. As a complete novice Alba put us all at ease. She explained what we were going to do, guiding and demonstrating to us throughout the session. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and made the whole day lots of fun. I came away having learnt about working with clay, I had the opportunity to throw on a wheel and use moulds to make a pot. The whole experience was brilliant and I am now the proud owner of three bespoke items ( a mug and two bowls) . Thanks Alba!

Terra Mia Pottery Studio is a lovingly nurtured creative space where to learn a new skill with the guidance of knowledgeable and friendly owner Alba. Albas teaching style is relaxed and supportive, providing the atmosphere, tools and space for budding creative ideas with clay and the techniques to bring them to life. Ive greatly enjoyed each pottery lesson at Terra Mia Pottery Studio and can commend, without any reservation, Alba as a teacher as well as her mentoring along this creative path of clay.
