AA Electrical Services

AA Electrical was brought in when I had my bathroom remodelled and they were great from the beginning. Tim and Mimi have installed colour-changing spotlights in my bathroom, an extractor fan, and put in a new fuse box in my ex-council flat as the old one was no longer fit for purpose. I also had them install a few sockets and check some light fixtures while they were on site, which added to the bill but were easy jobs they were happy to look at. Since then I have had them in for other works, such as installing a socket and light fixture on the balcony so we had an extra room during lockdown, and multiple electrical sockets in my workroom, as well as installing a new oven in my kitchen. Whats great about them is when I say things like, it would be nice to have extra sockets in my hall so I dont unplug the wifi every time I vacuum, they make it seem like a really quick and easy fix that wont cost a fortune, and it gives me a sense of control over my home I dont have to adapt to my flat, I can make my flat adapt to me. And Mimi is always keen to reassure that they know theyve been brought in when your house is not at its best, and theres nothing to be ashamed of. Theyre the only electricians I call, and if theyre ever not available, Ill wait. So far thats not been an issue. Very happy we found this company. From Sally who I was emailing to book the job in, Tim who was our main contact, organised the job and did a walkthrough to understand what we wanted, Arti and Jake who carried out the bulk of the work and Mimi who assisted towards the end of the job - We I found everyone to be lovely. We needed to pretty much rewire our whole property (so a relatively large job) and was very impressed with how helpful and professional the whole team was. They was patient with us and took the time to explain things, ask our preferences rather than assume, and was very tolerant when we couldnt decide on something. The team was prompt, organised, and tidy . At the end of every day they would let us know what theyd be working on the next day which allowed us organise and the clear areas to reduce dust. Pricing was fair. Wed got quotes from this company and two others, Tim was noticeably more thorough and during the walkthrough came across a lot more experienced and qualified so we expected their quote to be the highest, but it wasnt. There was a slight overrun which was flagged to us before expected completion (and we sort of expected given the size of the job), but this also was handled very professionally and fairly. Issued an installation certificate on completion and have done top quality work.
