Spy Alarms Ltd

We used to be with APT who got bought out by spy alarms and the service has gone massively downhill. Engineers are spread super thin and appointments to fix/service can only be arranged weeks away - we stayed home all afternoon for an appointment only to have them bump the appointment to the next day (and no, they did not phone to let us know). The final straw was when they took away our ability to manage the alarm system (other than just set it) by changing the control codes - something they want to manage to stop you going elsewhere. When we phoned up to ask for the functionality back they charged us for the privilege of simply returning the functionality had stolen from us! A total joke - clearly much more money obsessed than APT and a significant drop in customer service. Avoid! >>> Attention to detail is obviously also a failing as they can't get my name right in their reply!

Very professional outfit. Was having a trouble with an old, existing alarm system. Tried 2 other companies without much luck but was recommended Spy by a colleague. Spoke to a very helpful chap on the phone (think his name was Reece or similar) who seemed to be on point. Arranged a site visit. Technician came out, problematic sensors were replaced and Danny then did a full system check etc. Minimal fuss, nice guys and reasonable considering I'd been told by the previous two companies that I'd be looking at new systems to be installed. 5* Service: Security cameras
