        Decided to give this place another try after having a bad experience a year ago, and wish we hadn't bothered. The food was awful, and the frying oil clearly needed changing. Really disappointed again, so wont bother again!

        Good food & beer but if you approach from the wrong direction the dual carriage way puts about an extra mile on your journey

        Second visit here. It's a very old rustic type pub, quite large really. Locals are very friendly and the pub is very dog friendly. Didn't try the food this time around but the menu looks good however the kitchen doesnt open until 6pm. Beer prices could be better. 6.90 for a pint and a half of bitter. (4.60 & 2.30 respectively).
