I have used Weatherley Fencing on numerous occasions before and have been pretty satisfied, even recommending them to neighbors and friends.. Using a local independent supplier is important to us. Unfortunately on this occasion they have supplied poor product and were completely unwilling to rectify their error. I ordered a gate replacement from them. The gate delivered was shorter then the gate size agreed 1.73m vs 1.78m in height. The tradesman had hung the gate before we noticed the sizing was incorrect. Firstly they accused me of having cut the gate, then responded and said its my responsibility to check the size of the gate before installing. (surely I Should get the product i ordered in the first place???) In essence what they are saying is some/most of our products are of poor quality and its my responsibility to check the size. The fact they delivered a undersized gate in the first place was never recognised and basically said it was too late to rectify the issue, as it had already been hung. Secondly out of the Two tanalised posts ordered, one was brown. Another error in the delivery. The delivery driver was adamant they were the same, giving the excuse that they are wet, so a little deceiving to the eye. They wouldn't offer a refund or even some form compensation for the poor product they supplied. Lesson learnt is you cant trust products from Weatherley fencing, its maybe better to go elsewhere. Orchard fencing were so much better in advising and supplying the correct material. If you do choose to use them, i would suggest triple/quadrupple check all the sizing and quality of product before you take delivery. As it maybe a lottery on what you receive
