NEVER any space. Every time I fly. The one time I get in, I am greeted by a cheap Ibiza nightclub scene people shouting, downing drinks, having hilarious banter with other tables about how they are the pilot. Ha hahah. Hahaha. Jeez, you are better off sat outside the toilets in the main area. I hate Gatwick, it is TERRIBLE. Airport just smells of vodka

Save your money. Dreadful service, poor food choice and non-existent choice if you have an intolerance. Lots of debate even when I asked for a can of Diet Coke. Not relaxing and no opportunity to unwind in the long queues for the bar

Staff are rude! Breakfast is poor - no toast just hard tiny rolls, small plates, fake butter, overcooked eggs, bacon and sausages, juice that tastes terrible. Coffee was ok. Won't be booking again. I booked this once before with a similar experience but thought i would try again. It's honestly not worth it.

First time I've ever flown on a Saturday. The lounge was busy, it took 15 minutes to get a drink due to the length of the queue. I'd already lost an hour of my two hour slot due to various delays on route to Gatwick so losing 25% of my remaining time just waiting was a pain; I didn't get that "relax before you fly" experience. I've used No 1 Lounges several times in the past and the hot meal is always a curry. I wished they served something less fragrant, even though I didn't eat any, the smell permeates your clothes and is very noticeable on the plane. The staff were exceptional. There was one girl clearing the tables like a "machine". She overhead my wifes disappointment at the lack of clotted cream for the scones; she stopped her task and told us she'd be right back. After a minute or so she returned with a basket of clotted cream and gave us a couple of tubs. As soon as she put the basket next to the scones, patrons descended on them like a swarm of locusts. I guess we weren't the only ones waiting. I'd still recommend the lounge if you had two hours free, any time less is pointless when they're busy; your money would be better spent sitting in one of the overcrowded restaurants or bars.
