No1 Lounge

Please be aware that this lounge has rooms that are independent from the main area. I was flying business class with air india, went to the lounge where customers were clearly on waiting list for entry. Showed my ticket, and wow, got shown off to a private room where staff suddenly appeared to ensure bar etc stocked. I was the only person in there ! Good range of hot drinks, herbal, coffees, hit chocolate, teas coupled with biscuits, scones, jam and cream. Snack tray of cheese, crackers, houmous and type of bulgur wheat salad, GF options on request. Range of hot meals to order. Think about 8 good choices. I had the fish, peas and chips. The fish was lovely and light! A couple, and 2 others eventually entered the lounge before I left. Helped yourself to alcoholic drinks, I didnt have one but it seemed well stocked. Great service and relaxing experience before a long flight. My only criticism is, the door was wide open, and it just near the reception area so there is a constant conversation on the edge .

The place doesnt feel exclusive and it was packed. One of the cubicles didnt have water. Food is average for a london cafe. Beans bacon and eggs. Seems like their focus is getting people drunk since the main piece is their bar , at 5 am!

Try to sell their own personal pre-book even when the lounge is half-full.
