Booked a private lesson for my granddaughter and I. 8 year old beginner. She loved it. Frances taught her how to use the machine safely and then did some practice bits. Ended by making a bag which she proudly took home. I am looking forward to the next one

Frances is fantastic. Lovely friendly group sessions. Frances teaches the proper way to sew, so pieces are professional looking.

Went along today at the Bobbin Sewing Room and on meeting Frances she makes you feel so welcome, she has patience and very very helpful and patient. Came away with a beautiful Tote bag and looking forward in making a few more. The bonus in the afternoon are the wonderful muffins she made, with an enjoyable cuppa. Thank you Frances in helping me to want to get back using my sewing machine.

Frances at Bobbin Sewing Room has taught me how to use my machine, been patient with me through my beginners course and allowed me to ask her a thousand questions over the last two-ish years. I can highly recommend going to any of the classes that she runs, she is helpful, instructive and supportive. I can now make clothing, various bags, many household items and gifts for friends. There is the added bonus of making friends with lots of people who love sewing too! Thank you Frances for always being so kind and thoughtful. You have really sparked my passion for creative sewing.
