My mum moved into Smallbrook after falling at home and ending in hospital and as she has dementia and lives alone my sisters and I thought it would be better for her. What a lovely place this is, she seems so happy and always doing something from painting, flower arranging Bingo to name just a few, even if its just a sing song to golden oldies. The staff share photos with us of mum doing her activities and she always looks like she's enjoying herself. The staff are all so dedicated and treat mum like their own family. Mum is always spotless and so is her room. I was very worried about putting mum into a care home and did look at quite a few, I'm just so glad we picked Smallbrook as it definitely stands out from the rest. I feel very happy after visiting knowing my mums care is in excellent hands.

My mother in law was in Smallbrook between January and June 2020.The staff and management are superb. The food was very good. The rooms are clean and a good size. The only area for improvement is contact by phone which was hit and miss. However I would still highly recommend Smallbrook.

My Dad has been a resident at Smallbrook since earlier this year and the staff have been amazing. Even during lockdown, they've managed to arrange some activities and the care given has been second to none. I've been lucky enough to be able to speak to my Dad from outside his window and whenever I call, the team are happy to take the phone to him so that he can stay in touch with me which has been such a relief under the current circumstances.

This place is not what it seems. Don't be fooled by the nice rooms because the incompetentcy of the staff don't make up for it. I wouldn't leave a cat here let alone a loved one. Sadly hindsight is a wonderful thing. This place should be investigated and closed down.

It was incredibly difficult to make a decision to move a much loved relative into a Care home. Smallbrook from the moment of enquiry and during the first visit, made the decision so much easier. The welcome, the atmosphere and lovely ambienceof Smallbrook have not faltered since my Mother-in-law went to live there in Feruary 2020. Before the Covid19 as a family we could visit anytime and find her looking happy, well presented and obviously well cared for. Her clothes are beautifully laundered and put away. During the pandemic we were unable to visit initially but we were kept regularly updated by staff. Recently we have been able to socially distance visit in the homes garden or through an open window. My Mother-in-Law radiates the amazing care the staff have provided from the Manager, the care workers and support staff. I can highly reccommend Smallbrook.
