        Slightly off the beaten track, but this was a wonderfully lucky find for us. We had an absolutely cracking lunch, with great friendly service, a very welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Highly, highly recommended.

        Very good pub all round, parking was a bit difficult at 13-15 on a Saturday but if you want a good pub its going to be busy! Lucky we booked as there was little spare capacity. Very sensible and adequate portions but its handy my son was not with us, as a fit 27 year old he would still have been hungry and would have gone home to eat more and he is not over weight which is always a shame after a top quality meal! Accepting its impossibly to get portion sizes right for all ages.
