Newly refurbished since 2021, friendly staff, more convenient opening times and better range of essentials. A huge improvement on the last couple who ran it.

The new layout of the shop is so much better and the staff are really wiling and helpful. It is especially handy to be able to use the PO counter whenever the shop is open so you can post letters and parcels early or late! There is a good selection of stationery items as well as food including frozen items too. A really useful shop to have nearby!

They've obviously spent a lot of money fitting the shop out but there is very little in the way of food that I would actually buy, it is all low end products full of additives and preservatives for long shelf life, and packed in plastic. So many drinks in plastic bottles. Hopefully this will change.
