Mother Hen Nursery

Our daughter absolutely loves going to Mother Hen and I couldn't imagine her going anywhere else! In the six months that she has been there she has developed so much, and everyone says how good she is socially. The team are always available to offer advice and answer questions to help with her development, not just at nursery, but also at home. It's like one big family. I feel so lucky that we have this nursery on our doorstep.

Ive been continuously impressed with the efforts and ethos of the staff and management at Mother Hen nursery since my son started at the setting last year. Several factors have created a positive environment where the children can flourish, not least by having very good lines of communication with parents as well as organising activities to create a real sense of community, which the children seem to respond to very well. The stay and play sessions, Christmas fair, festive singalong concert and reading for world book day were some particular highlights where the nursery demonstrated its level of engagement between staff, children and the parent community.

Brilliant nursery, professional, friendly, caring environment. Both of my children attend (age2 and 3) and love it. Staff are excellent, would recommend to anybody looking for a nursery for their little ones.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. Its like leaving your kid at a family members house. Our little son has settled there within days. Theyve even literally potty trained him within a week of being there. Sam the owner is extremely passionate about her new business, its like a home with a massive garden the kids can play outside year round. She also takes the kids out on really good days out and nothing fazes them. Its also ideal if you have older kids who go too the 2 schools on this road as you can do 2 drop offs with ease. The flexibility with hours funded or non funded and the huge variety with all day, short day, mornings and afternoons are a huge plus. And believe me the pricing is cheaper than all competitors. Why would you even consider putting your child in a massive chain nursery when you can give them the comfort and stability they need! So happy we found this place and even travel from Crawley to come here as we just knew this was the right place for our 2 year old son before he goes to school!! You will not regret starting your kids here I can guarantee that

Fantastic place for children to learn and play. Staff are very friendly and approachable. My child will be starting nursery on a part time basis when I go back to work. I have full faith in the staff and their vision to make this nursery an amazing place.
