My experience at Hendy Ford Crawley was not good mostly because of the poor customer service. The salesman did not call me when he said to arrange collection/payment, and then ignored my calls for almost 2 weeks. I then noticed the car being uploaded onto the website as available despite me paying the reservation fee, and the salesman still ignored my call until another member of staff rectified this. The salesman informed me of details too late, such as having to pay for the vehicle 24 hours in advance of collection, which caused me to panic and have a stressful buying experience. He then failed to tell me what documentation I needed to bring in, meaning I needed to revisit the garage a number of times before being able to collect the vehicle. Further to this, when I collected the vehicle, I noticed the scratch which was agreed to be removed was still present on the car, along with the rusty screws holding the licence plate on, however at this point I did not want to have to engage with the salesman anymore so just completed the documents, so that I could take the vehicle and go. Just to complete my experience, he said he would call me after a day or so to check everything was okay, but I have not had any contact since. Overall, the salesman was sleezy, lazy, and his customer service was insulting by very obviously only looking out for himself. I have spoken to several friends and family about my experience with Hendy Ford Crawley who have since informed me of having similar experiences with this salesmen and collectively, we will definitely not be returning to this garage again.
