I contacted Mr Clarke for the 1st time in March 2022 after "shopping around" for a good broker and down a line of different, confusing guidance from different mortgage advisers. Mr Clarke has given me invaluable advice and has supported me through a frustrating failed buy and a new buy since July 2022. As a 1st time buyer it has been a stressful journey, I wasn't prepared to. Without his support and encouragement I would not have completed the purchase of my 1st home. | am grateful for his knowledge, support and persistence, with a friendly phone call away when my confidence was failing, specially following the recent upheaval of bank rates.

carl at acumen mortgages goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend his services, he always worked around us and answered any questions we had morning or night. He is very friendly and professional and I will happily continue to use his services for the future. *This is an update as of march 2023* I did not hesitate to get back in contact with carl as i was applying for another mortgage and his service was excellent as always. he always caters to your needs and availability night or day. Carl is very friendly and you feel more of a friend than a client as he always goes above and beyond to get things done quickly and efficiently. I had an offer accepted on a property I was interested in & with in the same week I already had my mortgage offer because of carl, if it wasn't without his excellent service I would have potentially lost out on the property. Carl worked hard to get me the best results with my remortgage. He never gave up on my complicated case which many could have. He is super friendly, genuine, knowledgeable, professional and dependable. He did not stop to get the best results possible for me. I used Carl for a very complicated property purchase, being a company director I was refused flatly by many other mortgage advisors, Carl took the challenge on, really knows his products and the marketplace, managed to get me a mortgage narrowed down to just one company, got us over the line and into our new home, superb service from him, he didn't give up on our very complex case, thank you Carl.
