I have just had my furniture and personal belongings sent from Liverpool to Manilva Costa del Sol by a great team at ASD, from start to finish an exceptional group of people who kept me fully informed of where the delivery was up to, and it arrived within the 3 day window I gave them. From initial phone contact and quote from Maddison, followed up by senior management Damon, to Sandor and Charlie who collected my stuff from Liverpool, to the 2 lovely guys from Malaga Removals who delivered in Spain, everything went brilliant. I researched 8 companies before settling with ASD, it was worth it, they are the best. Thank you ASD.. Kathryn

Please read this review. It is 100% GENUINE. ou were contracted to move our belongings from the U.K. to Germany. The collection went as planned. However, the scheduled delivery of our items was a nightmare. Called us on the Friday 24th of February, to tell us that there were new customs rules imposed overnight and therefore there we would have to pay a 175.00 admin charge. I asked for a written breakdown of this charge. Never got it. I called HRMC in Dover to ask if they are aware of any such new regulation. They said they are not. Then I called Pickfords and they said there was no 'overnight' regulation enforced. They were shocked that we were being asked to submit documents 3 business days before our delivery. The initial documents they sent us were not even correct. You sent us a document for German nationals returning to Germany and omitted to send us the 0350 form which is the essential form for German customs. When those forms were finally done. We quit out temporary accommodation for delivery the next day 1/3/23. The local police were informed that we would need 10 metres of parking in front of our house. I took the day off work. They told us that they would be there between 8am and 10am. That did not happen. We spent the entire day being told that it was coming. Including being told it had cleared customs and it would be there at 4pm. Finally, we were told that the lorry would only arrive at 7pm and that would be too late to unload. So, we had to find a hotel last minute with our dog in tow. A cost of 150.00. We were told that the lorry would be there at 7am on the 2/3/23 On the 2nd my husband had to travel for business. I have no car, so he dropped me and my dog at the house. I had to call them at 10 am 3 hours after they were supposed to show up. They said the lorry had not cleared customs and would have to wait til midday clearance. I sat in that house all day with no communication from them whatsoever. I called again to be told the delivery would now be 2pm! At 2pm a van with British licence plates containing 2 Hungarian nationals pulls up outside our house. My wife went to speak with them and they said they work for ASD. They told my wife the lorry would not be there until 4pm and that they were the only 2 people assigned to unload 50m3. At 4.20pm, the 2 Hungarian men come to the door and say they are leaving that you have not paid them for the previous 10 days' work. They were texting the owner ,Mr. Zoltan Gonda when my wife asked one of them to call him, so she could speak with him directly. She told him that whatever the situation was with these men, it was not her problem and that he must pay these guys as she was not going another day without our things. She reminded him that we had paid in excess of 10,000 for this service. Mr. Gonda said he ran a reputable business!! They put Mr. Gonda on speaker phone, where he could be heard speaking loudly in Hungarian. The men left and I had to chase them up the street to plead with them to unload the van. All of which has been witnessed by our new neighbours, one of whom is our landlord. They just could not believe what was happening in front of them. It was ludicrous. The men finally agreed to begin unloading the lorry at 4.46pm. The job was not completed until 12.30am. I am a 53 yr old woman and I had to help them unload the van or two things would have happened. The unloading would have taken until 3am and my neighbours may have called the police for noise disturbance. I was was just completely mentally and physically shattered by this whole fiasco. To add insult to injury several items are broken which I will and several items came to us absolutely filthy. They looked like they had been stored in a barn. I have pictures of those also. We have complained to them and they do not give a stuff.
