The Transmission People

It took them to do my gearbox 3 weeks , poor Customer Service they Never contacted me about car when will be ready also the price was much more expensive than we talked by the phone I will never recommend them

The transmission people replaced the gearbox on my 2000 VW T4 van and clutch. It seems better now, so although I am no expert it seems they did the work I asked for. As a company they have problems communicating. My van was booked for MOT immediately after the gearbox. They said they would return the van on Wednesday. Then they needed an extra day, so they offered to take it straight to the local garage where the MOT was booked. Instead they returned it on Friday without telling me, so I found it outside my house after work, too late to get the MOT done before the weekend which messed up my plans for going away. I complained about this and was told it was because they where short of drivers to return it, not because the work had taken longer. I explained that had the told me this I would have been happy to come collect it myself on Wednesday evening but because they don't communicate I didn't get this option. Jake Downton said he would look into it, no reply. I complained again, no reply. Also when they first collected it the driver visited a motorway service station for just over 3 hours so got a ANPR fine which was sent to me. The transmission people have sorted this out (I think) but never sent me a confirmation they have paid the fine.
