Having moved house 4 times in the past 8 years wasn't looking forward to the experience, once again! However, Ella from the Crawley branch I have to say is one of the most helpful, friendly and above all persistent, customer focused people I have come across. Ella made it happen despite a number hurdles and did it with a smile - well done Ella you're a star!

Kind of unprofessional Id say. Me & my friend were trying to rent a property as we just moved to the UK, we had some difficulties with the documents which probably made us to be ineligible for renting, however we were told by agent Ella that this can be fixed. She never came back to us. We were writing emails and gave phone calls to her, but no reply. It would have been nice for her to tell us at least that we are not accepted, not to let us waiting and hoping. We are very disappointed because we relied on her.

Property purchase, Crawley branch - I am really not happy. In a nutshell 1) Underground parking verbally promised -> actually only outdoor assigned spot as discovered when moving in 2) Sale with TV set included as per sales advertisement -> no TV present when moved in 3) Great communications, clarity and speed between estate agent and recommended solicitor verbally promised -> estate agent frequently where unclear about the state of the process and what is missing, sales process took +9 month; 1st time buyer, no chain, no financial difficulties. In more detail: 1) When viewing the property the estate agent clearly stated that the parking spot advertised in the brochure was underground. I saw this as a great advantage point as I own a motorcycle which would weather greatly if parks outside rather than in the underground parking. Additionally there is a 23 times higher chance that a motorbike gets stolen compared to a car. Having an underground parking would give me a higher degree of hope that my personal beloved bike does not get nicked. Needless to say that an underground parking spot has a much higher value compared to an assigned outdoor spot. The fact that my spot has surprisingly morphed from underground to above ground and publicly available has diminished the property value. 2) I dont watch much TV and dont care too much - but if the brochure states that the place comes with a free TV I would like to find it when moving in. That has not been the case. 3) If I were to recommend a restaurant to a friend and this turns out really bad I would feel a good degree of remorse having recommended it if it is not just a matter of differences in taste. I do have a responsibility to recommend good things and not bad things. The solicitor has turned out not only not good but really slow, bad in communication and generally providing sub-satisfying services. For example: Three month after the solicitor has been assigned the estate agent stated that he does not know what is still missing and mentioned that a very swift exchange and completion would be envisioned. It took another half a year for it all to go through to no fault of the seller or buyer.
