Went in today to have my dressing looked at for a burn on my foot. My heart initially sank when I saw 3.5 hr wait, but I was seen by Noel and a trainee nurse (I didnt catch her name) within an hour. Both were great! Noel had to remove the top layer of skin again and redress the wound, he did this very gently and was great throughout and the lady that was with him was very reassuring. It might not be the smartest hospital and waiting room is a bit small and stuffy, but in my experience the staff and care were great! :)

Inappropriate and dismissive doctors. Visited due to severe acid reflux, stomach gurgles, and retching up chunks of white saliva, was told by an Indian male doctor that I was young, skinny and pretty and therefore couldnt have a physical health problem. GP diagnosed me with gastro oesophageal reflux disease a month later. Myself and other women have had similar experiences to this in the past with frankly Indian doctors, both men and women, seemingly having already diagnosed us before we had even walked into the room let alone spoken a word, and using certain characteristics about us (eg weight, age, clothing, physical attractiveness) as proof that we couldnt possibly have anything wrong with us and that it was all in our heads. Sadly doctors these days just dont seem interested in compassion, or seeing their patients as individuals, just a one-size-fits-all approach that trivialises or even flatout denies everybodys problems.

Very friendly, caring staff who were knowledgeable, skilful and extremely professional. Seen very quickly by nurse then the doctor. Treatment provided without delay. Thank you to everyone for a brilliant service.

Reading a lot of the negative reviews on here you can see what kind of awful people the staff have the displeasure of dealing with. I was well looked after from start to finish, friendly staff, great service. Thank you for your help! You keep our country running. Absolute heros.

Many thanks to a Dr who saw me on Wednesday night @11:30 and prescribed intramuscular antihistamine and steroid tablets to relieve me from symptoms of an allergic reaction. Many thanks to a nurse (Suzanna?) who injected it in to my arm. You guys saved my life! P.S. Earlier that day I attended A&E at East Surrey (severe allergic reaction). Spent there 4 hours just to be told by a medical dr to get Piriton tablets (I tried that before and tablets wont work) and cream E45 from Boots. Pathetic!
