I would not recommend this company because they overcharge their customers. We were charged extra for a valley repair on our roof because the company claimed they needed two men and had to hire a ladder to access the third floor of a Victorian house. The second man never came. We could also not understand why a gutter repair company does not own a long enough ladder and needs to charge each customer? There a millions of Victorian houses in London.

I will potentially revise the rating once our issue is sorted but for now this is the reason for the rating. Booked Sams Gutters for a gutter clean as there was an issue at the rear with an overflow. Afterwards, rear problem sorted, but at the front we then had a leak that caused water to hit our bedroom window, it was never an issue before. They sent someone else who said the first guy left our roof felt folded over into the gutter and had removed a clip from the corner junction causing it to sag. He put the felt back where it should be but when asked to put the clip back he said he didnt have any on his van - regardless we had other issues they would need to quote for which turned out to be a few thousand pounds. Its 4.30am and its raining, we cant sleep due to the overspill of water hitting the bedroom window. Its been like this every night its rained over the Christmas period. I emailed before the break and Im sure under the circumstances something could have been done if they wanted to, but we have to wait till Jan 6th and continue to be tortured like this. Right now I regret ever calling them - they know the issue and what we are suffering and dont care. I run a business myself and delayed my Christmas break to make sure our customers were left in a good place before the holidays. Which makes this situation one that could have been avoided if they had chosen to do something about it, especially given as it was caused by their workman in the first place. My wife and I are exhausted due to the way your employees have left us. I hope I can revise this review on Jan 6th once youve made things right. Update: finally we had a visit to rectify the above. I do appreciate them at least trying to address the issue so have revised my rating accordingly.

Avoid at all costs!!! Guttering and down pipe were replaced in January this year. Incredibly shoddy job and have weve had persistent issues since then. We were pressured into payment on the proviso that if we had any further issues they would be fixed under the warranty. However, its been a constant battle to get them back out and they seem determined to sort with quick fixes - theyve sent someone back twice (after a lot of back and forth over email and threats that the work might not be covered by the warranty) but its actually getting worse. Were now experiencing flooding at our property due to the way the gutters are leaking in heavy rain. The photo below is just one of the leaks weve been left with - a much much worse situation than before Sams Gutters attended. Please please dont be tempted by their lower prices. Its not worth it!
