Went in, friendly enough, said i wanted food, after looked at menu, knew what i wanted to order - olives and a soup I'd had in morocco ( i was supposed to be there now) - they offered s chicken tagine special. I said nah I'm vegetarian, and told him what i wanted. Spoke a bit of moroccan arabic, and thought I'd be treated very well. Special harira coming. Out came a soup from the microwave, awful start, but i just wanted the soup. It was really good, til saw lamb chunks floating it. I used to eat meat, so i was not gonna make a fuss, i just picked them out! When finished they said "not eating the lamb?" When they saw the lamb chunks left in olive bowl. I reaffirmed i was vegetarian ( vegan actually) and he said "you should've said!". When the charge came at till, it was 7 quid. Now, my maths ain't particularly good but i knew 3.90 + 1.80 isn't 7 pounds! I complained, lil bit flustered, and both guys totally fobbed me off, the guy who served said i had a discount, from 9 quid! Even after i pointed at the detailed sign on the window stating the price list clearly on the front door. Total d*ckheads. F*ck these guys. Total hayawan. Edit: Looking at the responses to other bad reviews, these guys can't take constructive criticism from unsatisfied customers, and dismiss and gaslight them, instead of offer apologies and perhaps a discount. Awful awful people clearly! - selling cigarettes illegally under the bar too! there - i snitched on you, khoya, that's what you get for being hayawan. ( edit after their response - Now look at their response! No accountability. you're lucky i don't call trading standards, hayawan. Audhu billahi minashaitanir rajeem - very very bad people. lying to cover your backs, shame on you)
