Gatwick Inn Hotel

This is a low cost hotel: it's close to Gatwick, parking is cheap. Parking is a space on the grass in front of the building, there is no security. Room was small, reasonably clean and quiet Bed was a small double. Bathroom had a cracked basin with a shower that worked. We used the Sainsbury 'local' store in the petrol station across the road for a best-forgotten dinner (there's nowhere else to eat nearby). No shuttle service, but taxi turned up on time (15 each way). Overall a fair price for a basic room plus 4 days parking near Gatwick airport.

Would not recommend staying here. Strange smell on walking through the door. Waited at reception for someone to arrive. Finally got our key and when entering the room found very small, not very clean, stuffing coming out of the duvet, toilet seat stained and mirrors cracked. Plastic stuck to the window for privacy that looked like a child had done it. Not very comfortable to sleep and could not relax prior to early flight.
