Drum Lessons

Thanks to Barry, after 1 year of drumming i have been able to implement structure in to my drumming. 1 year later my drumming has improved beyond where i could have possibly hoped for. He has a wealth of experience and with each lesson i have come away with more knowledge and exercises to work on which has been a massive help. Barry very quickly worked out where to start with for me, making it feel tailored, as well as the patience to give me room to grow and get comfortable on the kit. Whatever level you are, i would highly recommend Barry.

Thank you so much Barry for arranging for my son to join you on stage at the Brighton Dome for the sound check at a recent performance of Brendan Cole's 'All Night Long'. He really appreciated the opportunity to see how a professional show operates and how all of the musicians, singers, dancers and sound/lighting technicians work together as well as how important it is to keep your eye on the musical director for cues. To then have the opportunity to stay and watch the show and see you play afforded him first-hand experience of just how pivotal a drummer's role is within the performing environment as well as how much hard work goes in to every show. The whole experience has really inspired him and shown him what opportunities are available if you are willing to work to achieve them.
