Call centre is an absolute disgrace. Borderline criminal neglect of customers' wishes. I tried to tell them I wouldn't be renewing and they just hung up. Then they tried to charge me ongoing fees after the renewal date. Spoke to 6 different people in different departments. Nobody could resolve a simple problem. A faceless, soulless corporation. Richard Branson has created a monster.

Had my personal email account suspended without warning , I did nothing wrong it just failed to log in after years of use. No virgin products for me anymore.

Yes it really is as bad as everyone else says. Ive only given one star as there isnt an option to give zero stars. Like many others experience the service offered by Virgin Media is so terrible on so many levels. The advertised speed and connectivity only applies with a wired connection and by the admission of the engineer that attended my property this does not apply when connected via Wi-Fi. I never had any issues regarding speed or stability of the connection with Sky and the type and number of connected devices was exactly the same. Virgin Media customer services is an absolute joke and worse than the fact that the connection doesnt support stable internet. I begged and pleaded for an engineer to attend to check the equipment/connection after many many circular conversations about whether or not there was a fault. Yes theres a fault! Do you think I ring up wasting hours of my time for fun?! Engineer attends and confirms that nothing can be done about the wireless signal, it is just poor out of the box. Unless it is wired nothing can be done but now do you connect an Ethernet cable to an iPhone or a Now TV stick?? Ive asked to cancel the service under the 14 day cooling off period four times under four different conversations. Ive been hung up on three times by contact centre agents and wasted hours and hours of time on the telephone. Now told it is a 30 day disconnection so Ive cancelled the direct debit and Ill see you in court Virgin Media for breach of contract and false advertising.
