Barong Conservatories, Windows and Doors

Right from the outset Barong have been professional and courteous. The appointment to do the quote was on time and the man (sorry forgotten his name) was knowledgeable and listened to our requirements. At no point was there a pressure sell just good clear advice. Once we had 4 quotes in from different companies we were pleasantly surprised by the Barong Quote, not the cheapest but by far not the most expensive, the detail in the quote was good. Once we agreed to proceed with Barong John came and did an accurate survey and left us with a few choices to be made. We visited the showroom on Copthorne Road and the options were explained to us with demonstrations of what was available. Decisions made we signed the contract and a lead time of 8-10 weeks was given. Considering that period included Christmas we were happy to proceed. Approximately 9 weeks later work started. Quoted at three days the guys arrived Monday morning, they were polite and efficient explaining their plans and schedule. They worked around the 2 of us working from home and an inquisitive Labrador who wanted to supervise at every opportunity! At the end of each day the Barong team cleared up after themselves leaving everything tidy and allowing us to live normally in the evenings. Everything was done by the end of Wednesday apart from an area of plaster that needed a skim coat but couldnt be done until the base underneath had dried. 20 minutes on the Thursday afternoon saw the job completed to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend Barong to family and friends! Good work guys.

Cannot see how these 5 stars are awarded?. Was given a wuote which then became an agreed contract signed off at an agreed price only to be tols 5 weeks later the roof could not now be made to that spec.. eventually it could but surprise...an extra 1k.. After 8 weeks of wasted time from.the outset the contract had to be torn up.. Customer Service was appalling.. none of my calls returned despite numerous follow up calls. Seems only 'John' can make decisions or take action. Disastrous experience that totally contradicts all other reviews.....genuine reviews?? Who knows..

Jon and his team are true professionals. Their years of experience made a real difference. The design, the quality of materials and the installation expertise were all first rate. Id wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic local company.

We are absolutely thrilled with the outstanding work that Barong have done on our home. Their team spirit, hard work and professionalism were amazing. Everyone from Barong and James Catt Building worked to excellent standards, which went above and beyond our expectations. And the overall cost was very reasonable. They kept to the schedule, were always on time and very polite, friendly and very considerate. We would highly recommend Barong and James Catt Building to others; and should we need further work done in the future, we would have no hesitation in contacting this dedicated team again.
