Balfe's Bikes Gatwick

I dropped in at Balfe's in Gatwick, to touch base with old friends and former work-colleagues, and also to remind myself what a great shop it is. They were quite busy so I didnt stay long. Really friendly bike shop with a wealth of knowledge of bikes and servicing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Very impressed with the mechanics! Edward was very helpful and repaired by bike the same day so that I could race the following day. Would definitely use again!

Bought a Trek Marlin 5 couple of yrs back for my Birthday and came in today(22/4/23) to buy new helmet, lights and accessories. Today we also decided to measure my 2 children for new bikes and Ian helped us a great deal with everything. Allowed the children to test drive before we buy ( Trek Marlan 7)and gave us some sound advice on bike safety which was priceless and vital for not just the children but us too and correct sizing for the children in bikes. Walked away without putting deposits down which we now regret. So either tomorrow or during week we will be in for 2 bikes. Ian 5* to you and your expertise and professionalism.

Fantastic bike shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They serviced two bikes for me last year and were recently able to repair a sheared bolt on my Brompton the same day I dropped it off. Extremely happy with the service provided and Dan went above and beyond what was required by also kindly giving the bike a quick once over whilst it was in the workshop. Will definitely be going back.
