Metro Bank

I have 4 Bank accounts, obviously one with metro and the the other 3 with very well known mainstream high street banks and the service I get with metro is Light years away from the others! I phoned up to ask for a thousand pounds worth of 2 coins and first I called Barclays, it was like trying to get a sun lounger at a German hotel ! Absolutely mind boggling! I wanted them in 12 days time and they were saying that it might not be possible in that amount of time! REALLY!!!!! 12 days notice for a grand ! Ive never heard anything like it! Santander said I would need to actually physically go into town and go into the branch to ask and the other one made it so uncomfortable with questions as to why I wanted my own money I was made to feel like a villain! Despicable! I called metro and not only did I actually get offered to be put through to the actual branch in question which is unheard of if Im honest but they also arranged two collections for the same amount with the space of a month with absolutely minimum fuss! I use the coins to divide and I give each one of the children a equal amount to put into their savings bottles! It teaches them to save and it makes it fun! Thats all I wanted to do! Metro saved the day for them ! Wish I had opened an account with metro much sooner than I did ! Absolutely great service and all the staff inside are friendly! Thank you very much indeed!

Staff gone above and beyond to solve issue we had, despite it wasn't their responsibility. Never was helped before in bank like that. Highly recommend!
