Today at Gatwick was nothing short of horrendous from when we got to the airport at 11am this morning to now. I write this still in the airport 12 hours later where you have no staff to deal with the 200 passengers youve left stranded this evening. First BA2878 was delayed by two hours due to a change of aircraft and then once we had boarded the replacement we were all left to sit on the plane in the searing heat on the tarmac without even so much as a cup of water offered to us for two hours! Then we were told your plane had an engine defect and that you were trying to fix it/get another replacement aircraft so we were disembarked to the gate to then be taken to arrivals to reclaim our baggage and be kicked to the kerb without any member of your staff to help us. Me and my husbands honeymoon is ruined and we now face a long night in the terminal before we can go home not to mention what impact this has had on everyone elses holiday or way back home? British Airways you should hang your heads in shame.
