Embers Camping - Turners Hill Campsite

We stayed here for 5 nights in Aug 2022 and absolutely loved it! So close to Crawley and Gatwick yet nice and quiet, wild and relaxed. It definitely was camping made magical for us. Beautiful countryside and wildlife, campfire and stargazing at night. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Facilities were excellent. Highly enjoyable experience. We're definitely coming back next year.

This is such a lovely campsite - thoroughly recommend. Beautiful setting, incredibly peaceful. A large site, we went with a group of friends and had plenty of room away from other tents. Loads of space for the kids to play as well. Super clean facilities - toilets, showers, washing up. The staff were very friendly and helpful - i was worried about no electricity hook up but there is a charging station and they will pump up mattresses so really wasn't a problem We ordered pizzas one night from the site which were delicious and really good coffee available for most of the day Will definitely be coming back

Absolutely beautiful site, away from everything but close enough still. Facilities were sparkling clean and we really enjoyed the yummy Nutella pizzas (and coffee!). We really can't praise the on-site wardens enough there was a group of very inconsiderate, noisy campers who spent the whole weekend ignoring polite requests and trying to blare music out at all hours, but the wardens were brilliant, helping us move further away from the group and even leaving their own accommodation in the early hours to quieten the group down so as not to disturb other campers. It was a very wet and windy weekend but we still had a wonderful time we will certainly be back - thank you!
