Incredibly professional! They have a wealth of experts who take real pride in their craftmanship. They were diligent, polite, tidy and a real joy to work with when helping us convert our loft. They project manage from start to finish (which saved us oodles of time) and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had my internal doors replaced from Cooke and Charman, over the moon really happy with the service, first initial contact was with Charlie who was great talking me through everything and setting a date. On the day Craig and Kerian came to fit the doors they was brilliant kept me updated with what was happening. i have seen their work before at a friends. Thinking of booking a job with them ?? Book book book !!! You wont be disappointed. Will defiantly be booking again. Have some more projects to do. Thank you so much.

We cant recommend Cooke and Charman enough. They had just finished our extension and we couldnt be happier with the result. The whole team that worked on the project were friendly, helpful, and the quality of work is excellent. They were more than happy to accommodate any tweaks and last minute extras, and the whole project was perfectly managed from start to finish, making the process stress free. I would recommend Cooke and Charman and will defiantly be using them again for any future projects.

We chose Cooke & Charman for our one-storey rear extension project based on their local reputation and the quality of their previous projects. Their quote was the most comprehensive, with realistic broken-down estimates inclusive of all the details often overlooked. We decided to also include an update to our bathroom, a refresh to the hallway and cloakroom space and the full landscaping of the rear garden; including a large porcelain patio, drainage and raised planters. We also chose Cooke & Charmans own brand Charles Ashley Kitchens to supply the new kitchen. Before the project started Charlie helped us review the architects plans, providing advice to reduce unnecessary cost and suggest improvements to our ideas which was really helpful as we are not construction experts. The entire project was managed by Cooke & Charman meaning all we had to do was make decisions on finishes and enjoy our new space once it was complete. The costs quoted were exactly what we paid, following an agreed payment schedule for a complete end to end job. Cooke & Charmans approach to transparent and accurate up-front costs with no surprises was both refreshing and enabled us to maximise our budget without the stress of managing increasing costs along the way. From day one until completion, Charlie and Ashley were always available when we needed them, overseeing the project and communicating with us both on site and via a project Whatsapp group chat which was really helpful. Cooke & Charman are unique in my experience, in that literally any question or new requirement is always met with a positive, can-do response. Not once was anything ever a problem, whoever in the team you spoke to. We were constantly assured that they had everything under control and any issue would be quickly resolved. In fact, this approach meant that in the end there were surprisingly no snagging issues as nothing was left unresolved at the time. As expected, over the course of the project we had many different members of the team on site daily. Essentially, theres someone in your home working around your family life, every day for best part of 4 months, which could be really awkward. With Cooke & Charman it was genuinely a pleasure. The brickies, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, decorators every single member of the team, was professional, polite, friendly and always considerate. Without fail they would arrive on time in the morning and leave the site very tidy at the end of the day. The team were also great at contributing design ideas or suggesting better ways of doing something. Charlie and Ashley ensured everything was well planned in advance. We experienced zero delays with labour or materials arriving on site including the big components like steels, windows, bifold doors, flooring, kitchen units and worktops, etc all arriving on time. Working with clearly carefully selected, reliable, local suppliers, the project ran smoothly to the timescales communicated which was impressive and really helpful to plan family life around. Its unbelievable to think the entire project was completed in little over 12 weeks! And at the end care was taken to leave us 100% satisfied with the work, even including professionally cleaning the driveway. The end result is beyond our expectations and has literally transformed the way we use our home. We now have a stunning open plan living space for cooking, dining and socialising. The quality of the Charles Ashley kitchen units and finishing touches like the quartz worktop, bifolds and LED feature lighting have provided us with a beautiful family space we love to spend time in. Our experience with Cooke & Charman has been first class from start to finish. Charlie, Ashley and the whole team have been a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to use them again for any future building projects and cant recommend them highly enough to others.
