Our 17 year old non verbal Autistic daughter can be very violent and strong. Finding tough furniture was game changing for us. After breaking 3 divan beds in the past, we finally found the solid box bed by tough furniture, its outstanding and will last her forever. The window protectors do exactly what they say, solid and strong even our daughter cant break. We now have peace of mind she can no longer hurt herself. I highly recommend this company if you want quality goods built to last, especially for special needs children/adult.

Repeat Customer Over 10 years ago we bought cabin bed, mattress, bedside cabinet, desk and drawers for our son who was about 8. He has Smith-Magenis Syndrome, and needed bedroom furniture he could not take apart, move or create hazards. The Tough Furniture was exactly what he required, many years later the furniture still looks new. Once our son realised that he could not be "destructive" with his Tough Furniture, he stopped trying and maybe the behavior was not deliberate but boredom. He was much more relaxed with his bedroom furniture strong and fixed to the floor. The water-resistant mattress was well worth the money, its sturdy and easy to keep clean. Now he is a young adult and requires an adult sized bed, he knew he wanted one from Tough Furniture Company and actually begged and nagged and was so impatient and excited waiting for it to arrive. (The lovely people at Tough Furniture were helpful in getting a bed a bit quicker than usual) He is a heavy young man and overweight, typical beds, even sturdy ones, were not strong enough if he fell onto the bed with his full weight with slats or legs cracking. He seems more relaxed knowing he wont damage his bed because of his weight. The is no way his new bed will suffer under his weight and I am confident it will last many many years. 5 Stars from us AGAIN, j

Super happy with the reinforcement job tough furniture did on my sons bedroom it means we can keep him cool in the summer without the worry of him escaping out of the window! Mike the installer was ace very professional and helpful, you wouldnt have known hed been in the room as it was left very clean. Highly recommend tough furniture they understand the brief and there is plenty of contact and checking before the final product is delivered and installed. Thanks again. Nick
