Upper House & Spa

A very luxurious cottage set in a quiet and remote location with stunning views. It was so relaxing every morning to listen and watch all the birds and sheep in the field next to the patio - fell in love with a little lamb I called hoppy she was just so cute! Adriaan and Emily were really welcoming, with very helpful suggestions on the best places to visit and walks to do. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a fantastic stay at Long Barn. What a beautiful part of the world to explore and an equally gorgeous home to relax in. We were really well looked after from start to finish. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Emily who showed us around and made us feel very welcomed. She even made an outdoor fire with the kids and toasted marshmallows with them, which they loved. Emily also recommended places to go, where to eat and shared some local info, which was great. The walks from the house are sublime (the walk up the mountain especially). We were so lucky with the weather too. We would love to return soon!! Thanks for a brilliant end to the summer.
