Excellent care of my elderly cat. When leaving him, I am confident that his special diet and medication needs will be met. Can't praise highly enough.

Our cats stayed for a week and were very well cared for. We were given an update to let us know that they had settled well and were eating & drinking, which was a very lovely thing to do. The cattery owners are extremely kind and friendly and I wouldnt hesitate to highly recommend Clay Cottage. Will definitely be using Clay Cottage again!

I have used clay cottage a couple of times for the care of my 2 fur babes and I always have confidence in their well being. The attention to detail is great, nothing is too much trouble. Their dietary requirements are all individual met. They always come home healthy. Were very happy with the cattery.

WARNING: PLEASE think carefully before booking this cattery, as the cancellation policy is, in my opinion, very harsh. Sadly we had to cancel our booking giving almost three weeks notice to the owners. I was shocked to be asked to pay 50% of the boarding fee, especially as this was referred to as a small charge. I checked four other local catteries and none impose such a harsh fee. Three make no charge at all and one did request a 50% charge when less than a weeks notice is given. One cattery wrote nicely that they understand circumstances can change and they ask that customers give as much notice as possible.
