Absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend. Its a traditional pub serving lovely food in very generous portions at very reasonable prices. We had the steak and ale pie and fish and chips and both were delicious. Would definitely go there again if ever visiting the area

I have been to this place twice, the first time was pretty good, however, the second time was busy and was terrible. Absolutely no idea on how to cook a steak and, after complaining that I didn't enjoy the meal, not so much as sorry much less free drink. Additionally, the prices online are about half the actual prices at the pub. Would not recommend going!

A chance stop as it was on the route of a long road trip. A welcoming local place, wholesome pub food which was good value, Ok but basic drinks options, marginal wine options. Clean and a cosy old English inn with a roaring fire set in rolling hills. I'd stop again if passing.
