        Delightful little medieval Church (largely rebuilt in the 18th cent but the tower is original and the nave rebuilt largely in the original style)...the tiny village of Downhead is sleepy, largely agricultural and bucolic....replace the virtual 'do not disturb' notice as you return to the 'real' though lesser world.
