While searching for a new car, one that ticked all the boxes came up here. Id never heard of Alex Scott Cars before, so dropped a message over, and checked out their reviews etc. All looked good and I got a prompt reply back. Arranged to view the car the following morning. Dealt with Kevin. Very professional and not pushy. One thing I hate is pushy car sales people. Kevin was amazing. Let me take a decent test drive, and he showed me a few blemishes on the bodywork that would be fixed. Deal was done. Fast forward 4 days and gets a call to say the car is ready. Much quicker than the estimated 7 days. Car was prepared to a very high standard, and the handover was sweet and seamless. Kevin was very professional, and, for a dealer Id never even heard of, I have no issues recommending them to anyone. Amazing work, keep up the good work! HOWEVER..!!! The warranty they sell is not worth the paper it is written on. The point of a third party warranty is for peace of mind. I have now spent more than what the warranty cost in repairs. And now the warranty company (Momentum Warranties) have ignored my formal complaint about this, after saying sudden failure is classed as wear and tear. And that failed items should be replaced during routing servicing (glow plug, injectors, wheel bearing) which is clearly not the case. Such a shame as it has put a downer on my experience with Alex Scott Cars. Whilst I will still recommend ASC to anyone, I will also advise about my experience with the warranty company. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars. UPDATE.... Following on from the reply from ASC, no issues at all with the dealership, and I'm more than happy with the car. When the time comes to replace the car, ASC will be my first choice to see what is available :) Changing review to 5 stars as no issues with Kevin and ASC.

This dealership has some of the best motors on the market, the condition of them are second to none. Absolutely beautiful. Deals are great and the lads are always willing to make the deal sweeter. Paul is a top bloke willing to go above and beyond to get you what you want. No pushy tactics, unlike most of the others. Just a relaxing way to buy a car with absolute piece of mind. Definitely recommend.
