Heatherfield Care Home

Neglected my family member so bad that the hospital are horrified at the sores on his back and legs! Do not let anyone you love go to this care home! they cant even be bothered to clean the residents bedrooms never mind care for them. Things go missing from their bedrooms and when my grandad had a fall he was left for hours before anyone found him to ring an ambulance. The place needs shut down and the staff not allowed to work in care ever again. Safeguarding procedures are being followed.

My sons was abused in this home. No health and safty maintained. Infection controle none excistant. Communication skills poor at daily hand overs. Manager never gets involved with clients healthcare needs and changing care needs Starved. Lost 6 stone. My son hand closed. Never opened to clean nails were growing into his hand. Open wound never dressed left to rot with infection. No oral hyguine. Left wet most of the time. I witnessed my son pushed out of his wheel chair on to wheelchair cusions on the floor.eventhough they have hoists. They put my son into bed wearing his calipers and boots. I phoned ambulance due to infection in his leg ,he spent 2 weeks in hospital . My son left on his bed naked in a large puddling of urine curtains left open. His body was cold.He was helpless.
