        Came for fixing a leak, replaced leaking tap and old pipework, quoted a price, however that wasn't including vat and didn't mention it either. I recommend anyone asking for a written quote before agreeing to have work carried out. In response to the business owner becoming so defensive, I thought I'd state the guidelines of the advertising standards authority. It states "if your customers are consumers, all prices you quote should include VAT" I also didn't admit the fault being on my side, but said I can't prove you didn't mention vat, since you didn't give us a written quote, which is why I'm advising anyone to ask for one. You trying to spin that just speaks for itself.
