        Everyone in this branch is really good, both professional and helpful. Jacqueline, in particular though, has helped me choose glasses several times now and her input has been invaluable. The customer service in this branch is faultless and I would thoroughly recommend it.

        The optician was excellent as always, explaining everything clearly and very thorough. What I didnt like was the phone call before my appointment where I felt intimidated into agreeing to purchase my glasses at boots or I wouldnt get my eye test. The NHS website clearly states that you should never feel obliged to purchase your glasses where you have your test. The optician also told me this, and then the day before I get another phone call basically going over the same thing. I probably would have purchased my glasses in store but really didnt like being made to feel I had to, when I asked for my prescription it was literally thrust at me. Such a shame as the optician is really a lovely lady who makes you feel so at ease.
