We stay in this establishment for one night. inn a three person room. Our overall impression was that this B&B was a great disappointment. The bedroom was shabby and underwhelming. Whilst the ensuite has a working shower, the extractor fan did not work to expel the moist air. The wall mount towel radiator remained cold. The so-called continental breakfast consisted of two boiled eggs (small size) and/or beans. Full English was not offered. There was tea and coffee and a limited selection of cereals. The seating was basic canteen style and uncomfortable. This B&B is below standard, and I would recommend you go elsewhere to experience a genuine affair. I would not be surprised to discover Quarries House a previous function - perhaps a young offenders hostel - given the very basic standard on offer.

The decor looked tired and in need of upgrading. The lady in charge was friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean. Biggest problem for me was the thin walls, I was kept awake by someone snoring in the next room! The B&B is in a good location and local amenities are close at hand. Cramlington seems like a nice enough place and the locals we spoke to were friendly and approachable.
