Plessey Hall Equestrian Centre

I absolutely love this yard. The facilities are great and the owners and other livery owners are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Unfortunately I had an accident just before Christmas and was worried about my horse as the yard is DIY. I need not have worried. many many thanks go to Dorothy and her family for looking out for him, checking him at least twice a day, and to Jane who has been looking after him so well. Keeping me up to date with everything. Without this support I would have been very stuck. I am now looking forward to getting back to the yard and getting fit again for the spring. The horses on this yard want for nothing. The grazing and size of the fields are first class. The hay and straw come for the owners own land and is of very high quality. The stabling is great with tack room and feed room ideally situated. The horses live out 24/7, and my horse loves it. He is established in his herd and is living his best life. I now need to remind him he is not retired. I am looking forward to some happy years ahead.

Been at the yard for over 5 years now and it's the best thing for my little herd, they are out 24/7 all year round and they couldn't be happier. Owners are always on the ball and keep an eye on the horses, from being very overprotective owners we have come to enjoy being on a livery yard that does things right. Not sure about the 1 star maybe a keyboard warrior???

I liveried my horse at this yard for about 4 years, I was very happy at the yard and so was my horse. Stables are lovely within a big shed, with great quality hay and straw, lovely big fields with plenty of grazing all year around. School was big and loads of jumps, lovely riding down to plessey woods. Proprietors are friendly and helpful and have extensive knowledge and experience in horse management. I highly recommend this livery yard, I only left as I moved out of the area.

Very friendly yard ran and managed properly by an experienced horsey family who have also been members of the farming community. Dorothy has been a godsend at times while I have had difficulties with my horse. The yard has miles of off road hacking, and access to Plessy Woods too. This yard is perfect for someone who cares about their horse and wishes to spend time with like minded people. This yard is not cliquey and the grazing is properly maintained. Fields are a good size and the herd of horses is settled and happy. This yard is calm and quiet and is ideal for happy hackers and riders who wish to compete alike. The residents of the yard have a good social scene and everyone is invited when plans are made. Would also like to address the one-star review that has been posted. I have been at this yard for a number of years and there has never been an owner by the name of Jordan Locks. I therefore assume that this is a troll and their review should be ignored.

I livery my Horse at plessey I have been there for over Five Years. A nice friendly yard. People who you can trust The owner is a really nice and very helpful person I would not go anywhere else advice given if needed. professional Owners Dealt with Horses for over fifty years what more could I want for my Horse and myself.
