Great experience with AMV, we attended their Battle of the Wedding Bands even (great day out) and booked our wedding band there and then - Soden & Sons. AMVs online booking tool was super easy and made the whole process stress free. Soden & Sons were incredible, we had picked a few songs and they played them all, everyone was on the dance floor and they made the night for us!

Absolutely amazing experience from everyone at AMV, we booked the maverick rejects for our wedding (2/8/22) at Shotton Grange, great bunch of lads to talk to and sing with lol, slight problem on the night before that the lead singer was unwell, they said that they would have a replacement so nothing for me to worry about....and they were right!! Fantastic band and thanks again for learning our first dance song,you all made our day even more special, thank you from Mr and Mrs Wallace

We recently decided to use AMV live music for our wedding day, we booked an acoustic guitarist (John Gatenby) to play at our ceremony. Everything was booked and full amount paid to find out on our wedding day (3 hours before the ceremony) that our guitarist had broken down. We only found this out through our wedding venue, due to AMV live music not wanting to contact us directly, stating they thought this would add more stress to our wedding morning. They offered us an alternative guitarist who could attend from Manchester, we had to use this guitarist due to having no other options at such short notice. They told us on the wedding day that the new guitarist was 200 cheaper so we would receive a 200 refund. A few hours into our wedding day the guitarist we booked originally, tagged themselves at a venue in London 2 hours after he was meant to be still at our wedding venue in Wigan. We suspect the guitarist had been double booked and in fact hadn't broken down. At the time of writing this review we have still not even received any sort of apology from AMV Live music or the acoustic guitarist. We have received 200 refund from AMV live music, but this is purely for the price difference of the guitarist and not for any inconvenience caused. We are disappointed with the service provided by AMV live music and certainly wouldn't recommend using them. The stress caused by AMV live music on the morning of our special day we will never forget. (The only stress of the day) we would just like to say a thank you to Elliot Whitty the guitarist who stepped in at the last minute to play at our ceremony the only reason for the two star review instead of one star.
