2 x 6 book shelves fitted in alcoves on either side of fire place, from reclaimed wood (beams of an old school ceiling). Work was done to perfection, with as little disruption as was possible, and the room was left behind clean. The team was punctual and stuck to the price as previously quoted. We will be very happy to use the Carpenters House again in the future.

Im writing this review because if I had read what Im about the write, I would have never used the Carpenter's House and saved myself a lot of money and stress. We have paid them thousands to have a bespoke oak kitchen fitted. Andy ignored my messages about a serious snag in the kitchen. When I called, he refused to come and fix the issues and stated there were unpaid extras for the kitchen. This was not the case as wed received and paid the final invoice in full. They became rude and unpleasant to deal with when we didnt buy an antique pantry from them (which didnt fit in our kitchen and which they kept the deposit for - 400). They have not provided a guarantee or warranty, which is not acceptable on a product like a kitchen. To add insult to injury, they were extremely messy and didn't clean up after themselves - including taking paint off the walls which we had to get redecorated (see photos). Please be warned if you are thinking of using them.

Amazing work, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again.
